What I have learned about feed readers is that the main purpose is to help in keeping up with your favorite websites all in one. As I browsed through the different feed readers, I chose to sign up with Inoreader. Inoreader, meet all my needs. It is user friendly and accessible through a variety of devices. It also allows you to subscribe to social medias, RSS feeds, and more. In addition to these great features, you'll never miss out on the most current information or trends from your favorite websites with the notification to your device.
As a librarian in training, feed readers can be a convenient and efficient tool to provide patrons/students with the most current book, articles, news and more.

Hi Krystal!
ReplyDeleteI’ve read up on several blogs and found that Inoreader is one of the most popular as a choice for those just starting out with feed readers. I also chose Inoreader for myself and now feel reassured that I made the right choice. Thanks for sharing that! I like the example you gave of how to implement feed readers in the library. They don’t need to be for personal use only, librarians can follow other librarians and relevant sites to share information with patrons.
I also chose Inoreader. You shared some great resources here. I always find it interesting how little I see overlap in the resources we share - except, of course, in the case of the resources we are assigned to evaluate.
